As a former longtime scout and baseball analyst in the MLB community, owner of Pivotal Sports Management, Derrick Ross, often gets asked for insight from today’s sports journalists. Most recently, he was interviewed by writer Pat Caputo from the Oakland Press regarding his thoughts on the new United Shore Professional Baseball League. The league will play at an all-new facility in Utica, MI, and just recently finished recruiting athletes to fill out its roster. Derrick had a chance to stop by the try outs in Lake Orion and thinks there are some good caliper players. However, only time will tell if it becomes a hotbed for real raw professional talent.
